Water pump won't pump water.

Started to sanitize my fresh water tank today on my Palomino Puma 32DBKS. Filled the tank and switched on my Pentair Shurflo water pump, and it runs but does not pump water. I first turned it on and thought it would run until it primed and then would shut off. It kept running, so I turned on a few faucets expecting air to be purged from the lines. No air and no water even though the pump was operating. Do I have to turn a valve on to it? Just picked the new trailer up last Saturday so it is under warrantee.

Find water pump and probably winterizing valve needs to be turned to fresh water tank for suction....

If the water pump has a winterization valve and it's still in antifreeze mode, that would do what you describe.

Did you open and close water heater bypass valves? And then fill the water heater?

I havent seen my unit in over 6 months now(tomorrow I will).
My first thought is maybe the winterizing tube is still connected instead of the fresh tank line.

Like I said I have not seen my trailer in a bit and I cannot really remember but I think there may be a valve to turn.

Locate the pump and follow the inlet line, see if there is a valve or the winterizeng tube is still connected.

I'm trying to do this from memory

Following the inlet would be the easiest for now.

Ok, I found a valve near the pump and opened it. I am pointing to it. The second picture is of my setup. With the valve open cold water does flow but again, the pump still won't shut off. I know where the water heater is but can l not locate the access panel to get to the bypass valve.

Wow, I can not find my bypass valves. On my previous trailer I had an access panel behind the WH in yhe kitchen. On my new trailer the WH is up front and I can't locate the valve or an access panel

Wish I could help by being there. All I can say is something is open downstream of the pump.

Haha, me too. I know there is a bypass valve but can not locate it. The WH is up in the bedroom and even in the storage areas there is no access panel.

I found the valve you speak of, turned it and cold water side has water flowing from it but again, the pump doesn't shut off. Can't locate my WH bypass valves or access panel for WH, it is in the front of the trailer in the bedroom area but no access panel?

Have you look underneath the bed or under shirt closet cabinet for a false floor? If no access inside have you look underneath trailer for an access hole with a plug that you would removed?

It takes quite a while to fill the water heater and lines if they were drained.

It's unlikely, but possible, you don't have a bypass valve. Dumb question, but was the unit winterized?

Didn't look in the shirt closet, will do that now. Under the trailer towards the front I do see the low point drains.

Yes, pink antifreeze came out of the faucets, so it appears to have been winterized. My question is, why would the trailer be winterized if it was brand new from the factory?

Access panel was not in shirt closet, but you were close, under the matress. Now, here is what I see, the two valves , red and white are in the same direction. Not familiar with this setup. Do I turn the red or white?

Looks like the valves are in summer position. The one by the cold water line is a three way valve which looks is set for water to flow to water heater. Red line is hot water line and valve looks like it is open, so water should flow properly. Turn water pump on and open only hot water faucet and wait until water comes out steady for one minutes and that should be it. To make sure water heater is full you can also open water heater relief valve to make sure tank is full.

PS: I did say to look underneath bed.....
