WH Thermostat adjustable?

Hi, all. Our water heater (6 gal. Atwood gas/elec.), when run on LP, doesn't seem to shut off until the water's hot enough to make a good cup of tea with. Anybody know if the water heater has an adjustable thermostat? It seemed fine on electric. Thanks!

One option is put an aquarium thermometer on the water heater tank, and turn off the LP when the water reaches the desired temperature. This can eliminate the need for mixing hot & cold in the shower, too.

That's a great idea, Starry2some. Thanks for the link to the manual, TURBS.
