What is this hose for?

We just took delivery of our new 2017 26dbh and after the thorough demo we don't know what this little guy does? We are assuming it is to drain the fresh water tank but feel like it should have a cap or valve. It was spewing water when we got it into our driveway. Help. Can't find it in the manual.

If it was dropping water then it is likely the FW tank over flow, there should be NO cap or valve on it.

How much water is in the FW tank?

Looking at the floor plan for your TT, the fridge is on the curb side and this hose is by the rear of the slide on the street side. So I don't think it's for the fridge.

I'd guess FW tank overflow.

Taste whats coming out and that should narrow the options.

So.... Fill the fw tank till full and if water comes out you know it's the overflow. If not then maybe it's the fw drain and you haven't found the valve yet, some are inside. If its the fridge drain you can test that by pouring water in the drip pan. Process of elimination, you can figure it out. If it is the fw overflow (my guess) then it is odd that it has no cap or at least a fitting. Good luck and let us know!!

I've had two (SOB's though) that did not have a cap/fitting on the fresh water overflow hanging below the trailer. I did tape a piece of nylon window screen over them to keep the bugs/mud daubers out.

fw drain

My MH has two fresh water drains that exit the floor and had no valves or caps. I installed two rubber duck bill check valves on them to prevent bugs from getting in the tank. Now no worries.
