I suppose I could look up what winterizing is ~ assuming it has something to do with water lines and such..... I'll be de-stinking the new roo's hot water heater this weekend but I'm guessing that's another thread...... hang in there, guys, warmer weather's coming

Planning on getting mine home as soon as the snow is gone to start the mods. I am guessing by the end of march. I was in it this past weekend to drop off supplies for some of the mods, it still has that new trailer smell. I can't wait.

Wow, if you don't have to winterize, why do you stop camping?

Hi, we're in Kingston (SE Ontario). We can start getting things ready in early May. But hafta keep an eye on the forecast. Earliest we've camped is mid-May, but two years back a couple of Prov parks nearby opened late April. We were surprised because we were just walking in the park thinking it was still closed and came across half a dozen campers.

The power was on but the water was off, and there was still some snow in shaded areas.

This years first trip is last week of May.

Live just south of Kansas City and plan on pulling the TT out from behind the barn this coming weekend (March 15th) and will do some cleaning and start loading gear back into it. Will drain the antifreeze out the following weekend and get ready for the first trip Easter weekend.

we've kind of been on a camping hiatus since the camper we had been using was sold about 6 months ago. For us, this is prime camping season ~ summer gets pretty miserable here come July - Sept.

We are in west central Wisconsin, so for us its usually early-mid May. I will get it out of storage sometime in April to wash/clean everything and to install a few things that I have bought over the winter. This time last year we had 70+ temps, this year we have had over 20" of wet heavy snow in the last week. Our first trip this year is May 17-19, it can't come soon enough!!
