When I flush the toilet....

Sometimes when I flush the toilet, I can hear a gurgling sound come from the bathroom sink drain. 2013 Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S

Anyone have any ideas why this would happen?

The only thing that comes to mind is, the toilet and sink both drain into the same tank, and that tank vent isn't working properly. When the toilet is flushed the rush of air into the tank is venting through the bath sink.

This would not be the first time bathroom sink/showers have been plumbed to the black tank. Only way to check if it is to be hooked up to full hookups with the black tank empty. Run water into the sink & shower. Drain black tank and see if water drains out. If so and it's still under warrenty take it back to the dealer and make them replumb it.

My Flagstaff 21FB (2013) has the bathroom sink running into the black tank. That is the way it was designed. Forest River is not going to replumb the sink. Nothing wrong with the lav sink draining into the black tank. If there is water in the sink trap, odors will not be coming up. The sound is probably coming from the black tank. Note: The shower is plumbed to the gray tank.
