Ok, I give. What is "fresh taste"? What does it do that a good filter doesn't do? I am guessing you are traveling with a full fw tank? That is something I don't do because I don't like to haul the extra weight.

Well I bought our RV to travel in the comforts of home. To me that requires me to have water. I run with full FW tank. I use water like I would at home. Now we can conserve if we are going more than 4 days without hook up. But that almost non existent.

When we are on the road we never plan out next stop. Occasionally that puts us in a Walmart so on board water is a must.

Ok, I found it.

Amazon.com: Camco 40208 TastePURE Marine Drinking Water Freshener: Automotive

Interesting product but don't think it would be needed if you were to fill your fw tank a day or so before leaving. It won't replace a good filter or sanitizing your tank.

That is why I carry 5 to 10 gallons in the fw tank, and a case of drinking water. I try to plan my stops but on rare occasions things just don't work out as planned. Got to love Walmart on those days!

X2....I've found that water in my 5er makes the trailer ride better, being the tank is mounted between the axles, and, with a Dodge diesel averaged 11.4 across the country....GET A TRUCK!

Maybe, but think it would be smarter to just dump it and replace it. Sense I only carry 5 to 10 gallons so doing that is no big deal.

If you have a full fw tank and haven't used it then maybe. If you use the fw tank and top it off time to time I doubt if it would be needed.
