I have been trying to figure out what drains into what tank on our new 2015 cardinal 3825. there are two grey tanks and a black tank with three drain valves. the grey tanks are labelled 'gallery' and 'grey' on the level monitor. I ran water down each drain (kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and shower) and they all drain to the 'grey' tank. we do not have an outside kitchen, so what is the galley tank? from the posts it would appear that the 'galley' tank would be for the outside kitchen that is mentioned several times. it turns out we have a washer / dryer prep in the trailer. I found the washer drain today and put a hose down it and it turns out the 'galley' tank is for the washer drain. my guess is forest river has a monitor faceplate stenciled for the outside kitchen and they just used it for our trailer knowing that we would immediately equate 'galley' with washer. boy am I stupid!

I do not know about your situation but water from the kitchen sink goes to the galley grey water tank in my RV. I have a Crusader 295RST.

Ok question please? I have a galley tank and a grey tank grey never reads anything. Even from the bathroom sink everything goes to galley tank and now my galley tank stays at 1/3 full even when we emptied it any advice?

I have 1 grey it never fills up never even 1/3 and we have been on a 1 month trip so far and use the bath room sink.

We have 2 valves that we open to drain.

We have 1 Galley tank that now stays at 1/3 full but it is empty nothing drains at all..

I have figured out about cleaning the black tank. Just flush water through the outside extra black water entry way to tank.
We have a 2018 T27TSS Forest River Wildwood

With 2 pull valves out side which we open both after black water has drained.

We have two grey tanks - one is for the bathroom sinks and washing machine (which we don't have). After a week or 10 days of camping we never have enough to "register" even 1/3 full for the bathroom sinks/washing machine grey tank.

I think what you're experiencing is normal - but if you want to try it, let your bathroom sink run a while and see if it ever registers. Then - using a clear elbow connection - drain and see what comes out.

Just don't get distracted and forget you have water running in the bathroom. And remember, the bathroom sink water flow is pretty low and you've probably got a pretty large holding tank, so it's going to take some time to get an appreciable amount into the tank.

1st: I have forgotten the bathroom sink once already so that is a check and it filled the galley.
2nd: we do not even have a hook up for washer dryer so that would not be an issue for us. But thank you for the thought.

When you have water standing in the shower and also the kitchen sink those two tanks are full. My wife said why don't the kitchen sink drain. and why am I standing in water.

I have the same ? But we do not have an outside kitchen. It's like there has to be a valve or something...
