Where to put the sewer hose?

First, it blew my mind that a camper with a MSRP of over $93K didn't come with a sewer hose!!!

However, when I bought one so I could get home......the Rhino......it isn't going to fit in the 'sewer hose compartment' above the water bay. That is a wasted space IMHO, because it will allow hose only and not the end caps! Another stupid design.

I know there are mods............gutter pipe or PVC under the trailer....and I will do one of those when I get a Round Tuit. I'm out of Round Tuits right now. Till then, it's just in a garbage bag in the basement.

Any better ideas???

Do you have a 4" square rear bumper? My rhino hose fits in it and I leave the CLEAN connectors in my rear storage right next to the rubber gloves.

Ya can buy a plastic container to store the hose in and I'm sure you got lots of compartment space for one. Later RJD

Find an appropriately sized plastic tote at the Dollar Store or Wally World for a few bucks.
Drill several holes in the lid to allow contents to air dry during storage.
Use the tote only for the purpose of the hose/connectors.
Problem solved.

Been camping over 30 years never yet seen a new camper that came with a sewer hose. Well made a 5' one in an intro kit from the dealer that was not worth one use.

Rhino hoses are very good but won't fit in most hose compartments. Ours was in a trash bag for awhile till I fabricated a hang under the frame fence post carrier.

You silly, silly man. DW hasn't even got home to start packing it!

And I will probably build one like that above. Seems simple. But again, y'all seem to have more Round Tuits than I do.

My RhinoFlex fits perfectly in my 4" square bumper. Caps/plugs and all.

Again, I have no bumper.

Nada.

It has a hose compartment. It is a joke. I don't get it, but that's how it is. It has round cap that says "sewer hose". Sewer hose with caps won't fit it.

Take a pic of your sewer tube hole. I wonder if there is a mod we can come up with.

I'm out of town and away from trailer. But here's a stock pic. It's the small rectangular black cap to right of the bay door. Open it, and there is a white tube, JUST big enough for sewer hose without caps.

Super-Slider expandable telescoping sewer hose carrier, these things are the best. I mounted two on the rear of my toy hauler.

They would fit in the bumpers but it seems many RVs are going away from the 4" square bumpers .............
