Why two 3" black water drain hoses on HW277?

Can anyone tell me why my new Rockwood HW277 came with two 3" drain hoses? They have slightly different flanges on each end and are slightly different lengths. Looks to me like it is one hose broken in half. Talked to my dealer and they said they must have put two in there by mistake. New to wet camping, so not sure what it is supposed to look like or which one to use. My gray water drain connection is a 1.5" threaded connection. Thanks!

This popup wasn't pre-owned?

Looks to me like a broken hose. They're usually 10 foot lengths and many will connect together for a longer run if needed. If those fittings will connect to each other, it's almost certainly opposite ends of the same hose.

do yourself a favor and throw them both away and buy a good hose with fittings on both ends, such as a Rhino hose. Those were made with cheap bulk hose and replacement ends

I'd have to agree with getting a newer quality hose like Rino. But the one with the 4-tang connection should hook up to your trailer. I don't see any other connector on the other end, so I guess your supposed have the wife hold that end while you pull the black lever!

It appears you picked the fruit of the scrap hose tree.

Normally, you don't get sewer hose with a new RV, especially a popup.

I've gotten a "starter kit" including a sewer hose with all three of mine, the first being a popup (without black tanks, lol). They were cheap junk hoses. I moved the popup hose to the next trailer and proceeded to split it on the first use...luckily, I hadn't actually started using it yet.

His pic shows neither hose has a connection on both ends. As is, his two won't connect to each other and to the trailer and the ground hole.
