Winterize Ultra Lite

We purchased an ulta lite last year and had the dealer winterize. This time I want to do it myself. My unit is equipped with an outside connection for anti=freeze but dealer told my wife to reverse the insert inside the connection?

I know to block the water flow to hot water heater but dealer also said we could turn a switch on the back of the water heater to pump anti-freeze in. Does this sound logical.

I tried to find this information in manaul but was unsuccesful.

Any assistance is appreciated.

We suggest you visit the Forest River FAQ section found here-
Forest River FAQs - Forest River Forums

And watch the video on winterizing which is listed in the FAQ.
The video is found here--
Winterize your RVs water system - How to - YouTube

If you still have questions come back here and ask but we could really
use more info from you. What is your make and model and if you have
specific questions about this or that valve a photo would even be more

Good luck!
