Question Winterized?

Just purchased a Rockwood Roo 233. I don't know if it was winterized. Don't see any "pink stuff" in the drains. I live in PA and it has been a brutally cold winter. Will my unit be OK if it wasn't???

I would just open the gray tank valve a hair and see if any pink runs out.
I would like to think your dealer has pinked the system but I give no credit unless earned.

Wow! Just went outside to try. I can't get either valves open! Shouldn't they just slide? Could it be because it's so darn cold outside!!

Yes they should slide out easy, wonder is there is water in there that did not get drained and then iced up.

And yes current temperature is relative especially if it is below freezing.

Don't force the valves if it's that cold, you don't want to do any damage. Did you buy your Roo 233 new from a dealer? I would think/hope it would be winterized but you could call them and ask 'em.

Thanks for your help! I will check when the weather warms up. I really hope the dealer did winterize!! If I see it wasn't, and something is not working properly, you better bet I'll be making a phone call!

Yes, I purchased it from a dealer. I'd like to think they did! Guess I'll find out when the weather gets a bit warmer. We just had a real cold spell with single digits and real feel of negative digits! At this point, Spring feels like it's so far away! Thanks for your help!
