Winterizing

Hi there, I have a Forest River ePro, 2018. Am trying to winterize...the manual tells me to "fill the tank above minimum water pump operation level with RV antifreeze."
It then tells me to turn the water pump on and open the cold water faucet.

Which "tank" is the manual referring to??

The owners manual is generic and has nothing to do with your particular RV.
NEVER fill your FW tank with antifreeze.
1. It's not needed as long as you drain the tank
2. You would have to use tons of water to flush the taste out

The FW, gray and black tanks have room for liquid expansion when freezing, as long as they are drained.
It's the water lines that don't have room.

They are referring to the fresh water tank. If you don't have a winterization kit installed at your water pump, you'll need to put pink stuff in the FW tank and pump through all the faucets, shower, outside shower and toilet. Then flush really well in the spring and run a bleach mix through it to clean out the lines (and kill anything growing). I'm putting a kit on my water pump in the spring, but I've winterized twice now putting pink stuff in the FW tank. For me, it takes about 4 gallons to get the pump to pull it in. The process also works better if you can winterize while level. Good luck.
