Winterizing with Air, but think water inlet is broke?
2010 Forest River V Cross. We blew out the lines yesterday with the compressor, but it didn't seem to work as it did last year when you could hear the air coming through the lines. Yesterday the air wasn't making it through the lines. Today my husband noticed that the city water value (where we hook up the compressor) spring was "broke" or not "in place."
Does this seem like the reason it would not be putting air into the lines? How hard is it to replace if this is the problem?
There pretty straight forward . Depends on how yours is mounted and you can access the back it should be no more than a 30 minute deal and a a 6 pack for good measure !
Max pressure in an RV shouldn't exceed 50 psi. Many RVr's use a pressure regulator when hooked to outside sources, just to make sure that surges, etc. don't cause leaks or failures.
