What are the drawbacks of connecting two 30 amp powers cords together? Depending on which site I pick to camp on, I have occasion to need 50' of water hose and 50' of power cord. Is there any risk if moisture gets into the connection on the power cords? (Rain)

I have two 25' cables I've had to use together.
No issues in 8 years when I've had to use them.

Turbs:

Thanks for the help. It puts my mind at ease.

The park I camp at usually has the power/water connections near the front to middle of the site and I have 25' more I could go back, but can't because of the length of my power cord. I have two hoses but only one power cord. I think I'll buy another power cord and I can go as far back into the site as I want.

Thanks again,

Jim
