110 volt converter

Ok, I have searched to no avail. i have a new to me 2008 sunseeker. Should I have any 110 power when I am not running generator or plugged into AC?

I am hoping to be able to watch TV while going down the road without Gen running.

A CONverter converts 110v AC power into 12v DC power. All RVs come with converters.

INverters convert 12v DC power into 110v AC power. Very few RVs have factory inverters.

Doubt your Sunseeker has one unless a previous owner installed one.

You want to look into installing a Pure Sine Wave Inverter. Somewhere around 1000w should be reasonable size to run almost everything you need except a heater or microwave etc.

To answer your question NO you will not have 110V power available without being on generator or plugged into shore power. With that said you could install an inverter system but more then likely will require an upgrade to your batteries or an engine powered inverter system. easiest to just run the generator if you want to watch TV while going down the road

You can easily install a 1000 watt pure sine wave inverter to the circuit that powers the TVs. If you are running your engine you should have no problem with your batteries since your alternator will be supplying the power and TVs don't draw more than a few hundred watts. I did that on my class A since I hate to run a 4000 watt generator to watch a 200 watt TV, even when parked.

Thanks for all of the feedback. I am only looking to run 1 or maybe 2. I am considering adding an invertor or running 2 small invertors for each TV/DVD player.
