I would have to guess that your WFCO is still putting out voltage and is in storage mode...AND it is kinda cold in Minnesota so the SG is high. But, on closer inspection, it also seems that you have some big bubbles stuck to the SG lever. You have to shake them off to get a valid reading.

The trailer breakaway WAS disconnected.
Are you saying the breakaway switch was pulled?

The SG reading you posted in the image is just under 1.250

Yeah, I was reading it wrong. It is hovering between 1.225 - 1.250 across all cells after I knocked off bubbles from the lever. The SG bulb is temperature compensating. At this point I don't know what is next. The battery is NEW. A different charger maybe?

Yes, at the campsite but my wife thinks it was many long enough because I checked battery the moment I unhooked and it was already declining.

I am going to cut the heater wire and cap it with a spade connector to reconnect if needed.

Trojans like a bulk charge of 14.8v. It is also recommended to do an initial equalization charge (16.2v) on new batteries. The low converter charge voltage is more than likely why you are getting a low SOC reading.

That matches what I just read from the Trojan site. My Genius 7200 charger nor the WFCO converter will ever get my battery where it needs to be. Man, this stuff is like alchemy! Thanks Boondocking and everyone!

Hate to use the old "watched pot" analogy, but it takes a really long time to get to 100% SOC. DOn't remember how long you waited and if the batteries were new they should have been at at least 80%. Looks like your converter is putting out 13.75 which ain't boost. This chart is from Progressive Dynamics. At least 3 days from low charge. If you have the voltage you have to have the current.

Makes sense. I gave it 48 hours on charge and 24 to stabilize. I just put it back on charge at the 14.8v (7.2a) setting. I was using 14.5v (7.2a) setting. I will let it cruise along on auto for another day to give it the 3 you recommend, and then allow another day to stabilize before rechecking with my temperature compensating hydrometer. I should probably think about purchasing a more robust charger...7.2A is pretty lame. [emoji51]

7.2A will get you there @ 14.8v, it just takes a while.

Fixed on multiple levels. 1.) 3-day charge on Noco Genius 7200 and rested for a day. Hydrometer at 1.2775. 2.) Yanked fridge heating strip jumper. 3) Disconnect installed on positive terminal. 4.) verified charging voltage from WFCO and all are in spec. 5.) cleaned up/roughed up ground connections from battery to frame and used battery terminal spray. Good to go. Thank you everyone.
