12v question

On our 360pdek there are two batteries. They are wired separately. One is house battery, the other is inverter battery. There is a factory installed switch for the inverter. Even when the inverter switch is off and the house battery is disconnected there is power to the landing area lights. My question are: Do I need to put a cut off switch at each battery to stop slow power drain? Is the inverter switch just that. Inverter only? And: do both batteries act as house batteries? Thanks for any help.

Interesting setup. You may want to check the current draw on each battery with all loads off. If it's below 25 milliamps on either one, you don't really need a cut off on that one.

12v question

Normally landing gear and slides are wired directly to the battery as well.
