Unhappy 1809S Water Pump Fuse behind micro-wave

After searching for a long time, I discovered that there is a 10 amp fuse that controls / protects the water pump. To get to it, you have to remove the micro-wave! I found out after I had let a little frost get into the pump, then I turned it on to pump anti-freeze and nothing happened. I then saw another thread from emptypockets about that fuse, and sure enough that is it. Why in the h-e-double-hockey-sticks would they hide that fuse under there and then also leave it out of the owner's manual? SHEESH!

That is just wrong on so many levels!!
If it were me, I'd cut out the inline fuse.
Replace it with a good wire nut and tape.
Place the fuse in the power line close to the pump

Then I'd call Forest River and talk to someone who
can make sure they stop doing such a stupid thing!!

It's bad enough that I found a fuse behind my Concertone unit.
The water pump fuse behind the microwave should get someone
fired IMO.

Thanks for using a good subject line so if someone else
comes along and does a search here they will find your post!

There is fuses behind almost every appliance, if not all. I know the fridge has 'em outside under the cover, the A/C has one under the filter and a cover, the slides have them under the front tongue area, the water heater has one as well as the heater...... The converter fuses are definitely NOT all there is on these campers!! Randy
