2003 Wildwood Ac And Converter Problems
I Am New To This Site So I Hope I Don't Bore You Too Much, But I Really Need Help With This Problem. I Recently Purchased This Travel Trailer. I Am Not An Electrician But I Feel I Know The Basics. I Will Try To Keep This As Short As Possible, But If I Don't Give Enough Info Please Ask. The Problem Or Problems Are Even Though I Am Plugged In To A 30 Amp Outlet Which Is What Is Required For This Trailer, The Battery Doesn't Stay Charged To Keep The 12 Volt Items Working. So After A Few Hours These Items Go Dead. From What I Have Read I Feel Like This Could Be A Power Converter Problem, But I'm Not Sure. However, What I Don't Understand Is Even Though I Am Plugged In To An Outlet Once The Battery Goes Down The Ac Shuts Down. From What I Have Read I Thought The Ac Unit Should Be On 110v. Even If I Disconnect The Battery The Other 110 Items Work But Not The Air Conditioner. If I Charge The Battery Back Up Then The Air Conditioner Works Fine Until The Battery Runs Down Again, Then It Kicks Off. I Have Replaced The Battery. I Have Checked The Fuses. I Have Even Replaced The Main Breaker. I Also Checked The 10 Amp Breaker In The Box I Found Under The Trailer And All Seem To Be Okay. From What I Read About The Power Converter I Unhooked The Battery But Left The Trailer Plugged In And Checked Voltage At The Fuse Box Area By Touching The Postive Line And Nevative Line From The Battery And Got Zero Voltage. Do I Know What I Am Doing? Do I Have Two Problems Or More? Is This An Expensive Fix? Please Help With Any Input You Have.
