2006 Cherokee 28A+ Battery

I have 2 12 volt deep cell batteries, is it best to just hook up one, hook up the other while first one is being recharged? I hear 2 6 volts are best, but I don't have them...have the 2 12 volt Trojan 24TM's. Or do you hook them up together.

Hook them up together to increase your amp hours.

Wire them together in parallel...search for parallel in the forums and there are posts that tell you exactly what to hook to what so you don't blow stuff up.
