2008 Lexington 283GTS - 120V power charging house batteries?

We have a 2008 Lexington 283GTS and I was wondering how the charging system works. My question is; When the power is plugged into 120V house current and the battery disconnect switch inside the coach is in the disconnect position are the house batteries still being charged (by the 120V house power) or does the inside battery switch have to be on connect for the 2 house batteries to charge. I looked in the coach manual (which is very poor and generic) and there was no information. Thanks
