2012 Solera generator

Juat purchased and am dry camping. Have discovered we can not run the air 1500, and microwave or water heater at the same time. Generator is equipped for 30amps as I read but why do I have to turn off the air to cook??!! The generator in our View powered everything! So frustrating. Ann in Florida

it would help what brand and model generator you have.
do you mean a 15k btu a/c, instead of 1500 a/c?
your View probably had a 13.5k btu a/c, so if your Solera has a 15k, it takes much more to run it.
