It couldn't hurt and, even if it doesn't help, it's always good to have that adapter

If the breaker trips on hot days in a crowded cg, that means that everybody has their ac running and then some causing the cg voltage to drop below 110. When this happens the appliances, in particular the ac, draw more amps and this will cause the breaker to trip.
A hardwired Volt/Amp meter can help identifying the problem or a decent surge protector will also display incoming voltage.
Anyway, low voltage is not safe.

After having my PI EMS cut power due to low voltages many times in the past 3 years I decided last year that I wasn't going to put up with low voltage problems anymore, so this Spring I purchased a Hughes Autoformer to boost the voltage. If it ever gets hot enough up here this summer I may get to test it under those (crowded CG) conditions. I've only used it once and it did boost voltage from about 116V at the panel to about 122V into the TT.

I second all the recommendations to keep adapters on hand. Our TT has a 30A power center and I use the 30A plug if its in good condition and doesn't present any power issues. I'll only use the adapter to plug into the 50A receptacle if the 30A side is a problem, or even suspect looking.

You should not have to worry about tripping the breaker on the pedestal as you are now on a 50 amp breaker. BUT, you can still trip the 30 amp breaker inside your travel trailer if you use more than 30 amps.

Since I posted this, I purchased the 50 amp adapter. And I have not had a problem since then. I will update if I do.

That sounds like a weak breaker on the pedestal.
