30 Amp Surge Protector Recommendations
Fairly newbies, one trip under our belt, looking to protect our electrical system. What 30 Amp surge protector is reliable and cost effective?
Thanks for the insight.

Progressive Industries! Hardwired is best way to go, IMO. Not the cheapest, but offer great protection.

Progressive Industries Hardwired. I purchased mine when I recently purchased my 8289ws. The dealer installed it for me at no charge since I was purchasing a new trailer. It works great.

I bought a 50A Progressive Industries SSP50 Smart Surge through Amazon.com. I usually check them for pricing once I find what I want.

We use the Progressive PT50C which is the portable unit. I just read in their December newsletter that TechnoRV put theirs on sale today -cheaper than anywhere I've seen- and they have free shipping. They are worth the investment in my opinion. Lifetime warranty and protect you from more than just surges. Progressive Electrical Protection Systems

If you go with a hard wired unit be sure to mount so air can flow around it.
