30 amp to 20amp receptacle
I have a 20 amp cord and need to plug a 30amp RV recptacle into it.
I can't find an adapter for this. 
Does someone know where I can find such an adapter ?

Can you post a picture of what the outlet end of the 20-amp cord looks like?

You can purchase a new camper setup package and it will have one in it along with sewer hose and one roll of toillet paper. Camping World and probably Walmart should have them.

20 amp has one verticle and one horizontal prong along with the ground prong.
15 amp has two verticle prongs along with the ground prong.
A 30 amp to 15 amp adapter does not work. My true 20 amp chord receptacle does not have the 15-20 amp receptacle slots. Hope that makes sense

No
a 30 to 15 adapter does not have the same horizontal receptacle slot as a true 20 amp.

Could Wire one yourself from Home Depot. Get Amazon Prime and you might get free shipping, if they have it. Why do you need the 20 plug? Maybe just get a good heavy gauge conventional cord and live with it.

the 2 lowes in my area did not have them. was going to wire an outlet and new plug on an 20amp extension cord yesterday

I already have the 20 amp only style exension chord.
I may make up an aperatus or just break down and pay the bucks.
