30 female adapter for

the forest river minilite series...any one know where I can get an adapter that hooks into the rig itself. I would like to use an alternate for the rigs unwieldy 30 foot #10 cord....a quick hook up to a gen. in the bed of my truck a #14 extension for light pwr draw only...like stopping for lunch, or when its cool enough for no ac use...rv adapters at ace, home depot, walmart have angled prongs and a round ground.. this rig has blades for neutral, hot and ground....the female needs to fit those blades.

if you try to make one yourself I bet the twist lock female connector will cost 15 to 20 dollars.

Consider buying the 30 amp verion then use the simple 30 to 20 adapter. Gives you more options.

Most t.v. dealers sell these, like Camper World.

Or buy a 12 gauge ext cord at harbor freight, cut off one end, and buy a twist lock end for it.

110v to 30 mph conversion

Better to buy the aforementioned adapter than making one up. If you make one up take care to wire it correctly or risk electrical problem.

The worst day camping is far better than the best day working.
