I carry the 25 Ft 30 amp trailer cord, a 25 ft 30 amp extension and a 50 ft 30 amp extension. I often use all of that at Ontario Provincial Parks to get power. There are many sites that have 50 amp now but seldom do I see 100 ft of 50 amp cable out.

My source is Princess Auto, they are less expensive than RV Dealers and better Quality than Walmart.

1 more adapter on my list now. Thanks AnchorsAweigh. I really like that 90 degree adapter.

So since we are on the subject...anyone have creative/interesting/helpful ways to organize and store their cord? Especially the 50 amp cord.

This is what I did.

It allows me to NEVER pickup that freeking 50 amp cord. I just pull it out, hook it up. Then disconnect, hook the trailer end on the reel and press the button, woosh all done.

Amazon.com: Camco 55572 18" 50 AMP Locking Male/50 AMP Locking 90 Degree Female PowerGrip Dogbone Electrical Adapter: Automotive
The description states 50 amp, but I only see 3 lugs ?
Edit - disregard ; I see it is the 3 lug 50 amp pigtail set.

Has anyone ever needed 50-75 feet of power cord? I can't imagine why I'd be that far from a plug. Just wondering.

There are 4 conductors, You can see the 4th conductor if you zoom in on the end that connects to your camper (end with handle). In the photo it looks like a camera flash reflection however it is a conductor on the outside rim of the plug. The other end is positioned such that the conductor is not visible. Take a look at your campers connection. I think this conductor is the ground.

What's nice is the connections are water resistant so rain isn't a problem.

This site. It takes 100 ft to get to the power. The power Hydrant is off frame about 20 feet to the left.

We have reservations at Turkey Run State park in Indiana in July, and one of the camp sites is advertised as 28 yards to the pedestal. I bought a 50' Connect brand power cord to take along to be safe.

I used my extension a few times, usually to gain about ten freaking feet. But, when you need it.
