50 or 30 Amp Portable EMS

My new Class C has only 30A service. I was planning to use 50A-30A dog bone. After reading the horror stories, I decided I need a portable EMS. So the question is this, should I buy a 50A EMS then use the 50A-30A Dog bone? or do I buy a 30A EMS and add it after the dog bone (if 30A service is spotty)?

If your rv is 30a, I would get a 30 ems.

if your trailer is only 30amp there is (really) no benefit to a 50amp surge, as a 50 amp coach uses 2 120v legs and your trailer only has even if you plugged into a 50amp outlet with your 50-30 dogbone, your only getting the one leg.....

just buy the 30...its cheaper and it will do just fine...(tho you still may want to use the 5-30 dogbone)....sometimes those are a little less worn
