If it were my fault I could beat myself up and not go to jail. It was the fault of the RV park owner and I can't beat him up, if I do, I go to jail....I am too cute to go to jail.

Since we're on topic of questionable wiring at campgrounds, check out this mess at one campground I stayed at.

There was a person on this site that was camping in NB several years ago when a buried neutral wire was damaged. All the trailers in the area had damage to their electronics. If i am not mistaken one to the trailers was lost to fire.

Yea, me too. Ordered it this afternoon. I've replaced a refrig board twice in my old unit. Hopefully that will not continue to happen with my new unit or even worse.

110V+220V = $2049.19 in damage

Well for all those of you who are keeping up with my problem that was caused by a 50amp shore power receptacle that was wired wrong here is the latest. The dealer,Southern RV in Lafayette, La has been awesome dealing with me and all my request trying to cover all my tracks to. I received the estimate and it is $2049.19, for now. Once all components are changed they will have to perform another diagnostics test to make sure there is no further damage. I notified the owner of the campground yesterday morning and I was treated like a piece of s%!t under his shoe. When I told him who I was his tone changed. I told him the amount, he said he wanted it in writing so I told him I would send the estimate to him in an email to prove I am not lying. While I was in the process of asking him if he had any questions he hung up on me, REAL MATURE for a business man! A little over 2 grand in damages and this clown offered me $500 and spare parts from FEMA campers, he has proven again he doesn't have the testicular fortitude to take responsibility for his mistake!
