50A to 50A "extension" plug???
Camped this weekend and the power pedestal had the 50A receptacle recessed so far that my Furrion power plug wasn't making full contact. Really needed an extender that was 50A to 50A, but haven't ever seen anything like that. Any thoughts???

If I understand correctly you're saying the receptacle was recessed into the face of the pedestal...can't sat I've ever seen that. It doesn't sound like it was installed properly.
Haven't heard of a 50 to 50A adapter, just 50 to 30A or vice versa.

It wasn't actually "recessed", but it was back far enough that the cord coming out of the Furrion plug hit and didn't allow the plug to go all the way in. All pedestals were the same- it was installed correctly. I've attached a quick and crude drawing to help illustrate what I encountered.

It is just your particular plug or all 50A plugs that would hit? If all, then yeah, it was installed wrong since they didn't account for that.
If just yours, could something like this help:

I'm not sure if all 50A plugs would hit, but I can guarantee you the outlet was installed correctly on the pedestal- poor design, maybe, but it was installed correctly. Maybe it is just the 50A Furrion plugs with the LED lights that would hit???? I've already got an EMS0HW50C installed, so adding a second portable one would be overkill. I basically need one of the round cylindrical 15A to 30A type adapters, but in a 50A-50A configuration, which probably doesn't exist.

So you are looking for a short 50-50 pigtail but short and not an extension cord??
I found this which is an 18" extender.

That's a great extender. Beats burning the plug off your Surge Supressor or auto transformer.

That might be just the ticket. It's hard to tell for sure, but I found some other images that appear as though the cable exits the plug farther back from the face than the Furrion. Would rather have just a plug, but a pigtail would be fine.

Great point also. Much better to fry the lugs on a $21 pigtail than a $300+ dollar surge protector or a high dollar power cord.
