AC control panel, bathroom fan & Maxxfan are out

Hello everyone,

I hope this finds you all well and enjoying the holidays with your loved ones.

Just joined the forum and this is my 1st post. My FR 2018 Sunseeker 3010DS Atwood 15k Air condition control panel (with digital thermostat), heng's bathroom fan and standard Maxxfan are all out. The two fans and AC panel (which controls the AC and heat) can run on 12V. The issue is the same regardless of power source, that is shore power, generator or battery.

Fuse/breaker panel checked, and all are in order. All other appliances, TVs, fridge, Microwave, stove vent, radio, speakers, lights, outlets (inside & outside), etc. are working fine.
I troubleshoot it with a Tech over the phone while currently at the Everglades but no luck. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your time. - Sam

Did you physically check fuses or just do a visual check. Is there power on the line out of that fuse?

I know you said you checked out the fuse/breaker panel, but did you actually check each fuse? This would seem to be an issue on the 12volt side. If the fuses all check out, may need to start looking for a loose wire at the panel or one of the fixtures. I'm not familiar with your unit, so hopefully someone who is can chime in.

Thx for your reply, Flybob & Valleyduo. Yes. I physically checked each fuse with a tester and pulled out each and everyone out to double check.

RVrover, Just bought the same MH as you. It is in the driveway trying to figure out all of the methods of control. Going thru the books and then will take to a local campground and check everything.

This is based on how my 3051 is wired per the factory prints. Yours may be different but most likely is very similar.
The 12 volt fuse #11 labeled "Roof" feeds the following 6 items starting at the fuse panel in the following order.

A/C control - from the A/C it appears it splits to 2 runs

The front run: starting at A/C junction.
Kitchen (center) fan
Front fan
Bunk overhead lights

The rear run: starting at A/C junction.
bath fan
bedroom fan

Even if you do not have a fan in one of the locations the power feed will be looped through at that location.
Best bet is to gain access to each of these 6 locations, front lights and bedroom fan are last in the daisy chain so no need to inspect there. Unless all else fails. Check if you have 12 VDC at each location and confirm that the connections are good. You can access the fan wiring by removing the trim ring. At the A/C it should be visible after removing the filter frame or opening up the junction box above the filter.
In my coach the wire has a tan tracer on it.

Good luck.

Resolved

After tracing the wires to all 3 spots, a loose wire was found on the back of the distribution panel.

Thank you for your assistance.
