Air Conditioning Tripping Breaker

I live full time in a 2008 forest river salem. I live in Florida and the last week needed the AC during the day and heater at night, and started having some problems with both. The air conditioning repeatedly trips the breaker. I will turn the breaker back on and the AC works, but now it does not automatically turn on and off. It's like its not sensing the temperature in the trailer. So I have to manually turn the AC on and off or else its freezing or too warm in here during the day, and this is difficult for when i'm at work and have two cats here. Anyway, the heater was also not coming on unless I turned it all the way past 80 degrees, i'm wondering if this issue could be related? The camper has not moved and has always been plugged into the same power supply since i bought it (3 months ago). Never had any issues up to this point. Thanks in advance for your help!

Could've if the unit is low on refrigerant, and it freezes up without thermostat control. If the upper unit will cause the compressor to overheat and trip. Need to have a pro check it out, your case could bad thermo or bad roof unit.

The T-stat could cause the breaker to trip, especially if it quick cycles the compressor.

Since you're having problems with both the A/C and furnace, my guess is that it's the T-stat. The first thing I'd do if it were me would be to replace the T-stat and see if that fixes the problem.

You can search on here and find out how to replace the old T-stat with a digital one. It's a pretty easy job.

Are you connected to a 30 or 50 amp circuit?

Check the AC voltage, it could be low.
