Anybody know if you can get the nylon strain relief bushings here in Canada. They aren't on the HD or Lowes Canada websites anyway.

What size is the hole in the back of the panel?

The HD Canada website only shows these metallic box connectors that I've used in the breaker panel at home:
IBERVILLE | 1/2 In. Loomex/Box Connector - Bag of 2 | Home Depot Canada

Would they work in the TT's electrical panel?

I have to install my EMS-HW30C in my new-to-us 2011 Rockwood. When I installed it in my previous Roo I just cut the incoming line and spliced in the EMS with 30A plugs. I'll still use the 30A plugs but I'd prefer to not cut the factory 10-2 cable if I can get my hands on a suitable strain relief connector that'll work in the power panel.

I've seen them @ my small local hardware store.
I'd try that first.

I tried to find the package mine came in, with no success. The next time I'm at the home/hardware store I'll get a part number. That may be too late to be of use to you, though.

Thanks, chriscowles. HD and Lowes in Canada doesn't always carry the full product line you have in the US. For example you can't get the 5" vinyl post covers and symmetrical gutters up here that forum members are using for sewer hose storage.

I just finished installing the 50 A ems, and the connector you posted in post 21 will work. I believe the panel knock outs are all a standard size.
The hardest part is getting the #6 wire to bend and fit into the attachment of the ems box!!

I found the package. It's Halex 3/8" non-metallic plastic cable connector, part #27515, available at Home Depot in the US. I couldn't find it on HomeDepot.ca.

I have a question, regarding the EMS HW30C does anybody that installed one hear a slight hum when you are near the unit? Although I have the 50 A unit the design is the same, I can hear a slight hum from mine when I open my storage door where my electrical panel and the EMS is installed!

Thanks for the link chriscowles!

I just picked up a 5 pack. I will ship one of my spares to anybody who messages me asking for one (until I run out). Maybe save a trip to HD.

I guess I'll have a double check tomorrow. Ugh.
Following up on my own post, I ended up contacting Progressive Technical Support on this. We verified that I had everything connected correctly over the phone but I was still showing 0 Amps despite having plenty of load on the system (AC, etc.). Support initially tried to tell me that I couldn't be hooked up with an extension cord to my main cord - they had "seen all kinds of problems with that".

Well fine, but I can't reach an outlet at my house with just my main cord and I'm clearly drawing amps and it's showing 0. So, they sent me a new sensor and a new logic board with instructions to try the new sensor first.

I swapped in the new sensor and now I'm seeing a > 0 amp reading. w00t!

I'd say my experience with Tech Support was so so. They were very pleasant and easy to talk to but after the initial call, they promised to call me back and didn't - I had to call them. They tried to convince me that the issue was due to my (12 gauge) extension cord, and I have to pay the postage to return their faulty part.

I *do* like the feeling of safety in protecting my system though so I'm still happy with my purchase.
