Another generator question.
Please bare with me as I know there are a lot of these questions like this one out there but I have not found any answers.
I have a 2015 Sierra 376bhok. It is 50 amp service.
I just purchased a new ETQ DG4LE 4,900 Watt 8 HP 296cc Diesel Powered Portable Generator With Electric Start. I purchased this because 1. Cost (got it super cheap) 2. Diesel was a must for me ( I have a 50 gallon aux diesel tank in the truck) 3. Didn't care about the db level because I will only be using it while boondocking.
So now my predicament. The receptacles on the gen are 1. 120v 20 amp 2. 120v 20 amp 3. 120/240 20 amp and 4. 250w 25 amp.
Obviously, the only thing I can plug into without frying the fifth wheel is 120v 20amp but that barely powers my 15,000 btu a/c. Anything added will trip the c/b.
Is there anyway to install a 30 amp receptacle? I'm not looking to power everything on the mother ship with 30 amps but I am use to living on at least 30amp.

A picture of the receptacles would help id them better.
Do you think something like this would work?

OP I could be wrong but 20 amp may be the most you'll get out of this generator.
The a/c can draw up to 18 amps to start "higher if super hot out" and will run in the 12 -14 amp range.

I got the 30 amp version for mine, works great, thought it might help.

I figured it would have to be re-wired to some aspect just wasn't sure if I could do it or needed a pro. I guess I'll try to find a generator pro in the area. You are so right Turbs! Deceiving!

I called Honeywell about it and they told me that this is the perfect gennie for a camper.
I told them they were full of crap!
My gennie is in the neighborhood of 6800 watts and it won't run my a/c or barely did.
They said my a/c must be bad.
Really?
He explained there was 30 amps available that it should be fine.
After talking to my gennie guy he explained to me that 30 amps is only available on the 240 v side and half that on the 120v side.
Cost me $150.00 to make it work.
I've been trouble free for 2 years.

I would totally be ok with paying a $150 to get this how I want it, considering what I have invested in it. Time to try to find some gen guys in the yellow pages I guess.

To me this looks like a regular twist lock receptacle (page 8 in your manual), you should be able to find an adapter at RV dealerships or online.
Or am I missing something?

Check with big electrical contractors whom specialize in generators "sales and service".

Obviously that manual is full of crap because these are my actual receptacles. The 25A is for 250v

But wait.
You have a 25 amp 120 v three Prong outlet .
In fact the adapter fordidaho pictured won't work.
Edit
You need a three Prong adapter for the 120v 25 amp.

What's got me stumped is the three prong twist receptacle is in the "120" box but if you look close and read the receptacle it says "250". Guess I need to put a meter on it to see what is actually coming out.

In order for it to be 250v it would need "4" plugs.
Hot
Hot
Neutral
Ground
It only has 3
Hot
Neutral
Ground
As shown in the diagram post on page 8 of manual.
That plug you have is a rarity on most gennies.
While good your limited to 25 amps.
I'll post a handy chart so you can see what you can run and not run at the same time.
Remember your converter is a constant draw no matter what so those amps come off the top before any other 110 electrical device is used.
