Have you tested the converter output?

When you are plugged into shore power use a multimeter and read the voltage on your batteries it should be more then 12V if the converter is working.

Thanks. They are not. Shore power does not charge batteries. Pretty sure now it’s the power converter, replacing today. Will update later.

if they are charging on the generator I doubt if it is the converter.
When plugged in do other 120V AC item work? AC, TV, microwave etc.

i'd check a bit further before I replaced the converter. you say they will charge on the genset. are you plugging the trailer shore power cord into the genset or are you running a battery charging cable directly from the genset to the batteries. if you are plugging the shore power cable into the genset and the batteries are charging, your converter is generating the charging voltage. and the shore power cord, breakers, and distribution panel are all passing the generator power properly. if they charge this way the only thing I could think of would be that the shore power receptacle does not have any power. when you plug into the shore power receptacle does any other 110 volt device (a/c) work?

Double check to make sure both your main AC breaker and your converter breaker are turned on.

It should be over 13 volts if the converter is working.

Not sure if I'm reading this thread right but before you go replacing all sorts of parts, check all potential variables of the circuits.
If it's charging on a genset (assuming a generator???) figure out why it's charging on that but not other sources. The AC input to the trailer provides power to one point no matter what the source.
Also, do AC items work while plugged in to all forms of AC power (ie: fridge, 120v outlets, 120v tv)
All 120v AC shore power sources:
- Circuit closed and providing 120v.
- GFCI is functioning and is not tripped.
- Verify that outlet has voltage
If using a surge protector:
- Ensure that it has not tripped functioning correctly
- Verify voltage on load side
Verify Trailer 120v Electrical panel has:
- Shore power coming in on line side
- Main breaker closed and providing power on load side
- Converter breaker has line and load power
Verify that Converter:
- Has 120v line power coming in
- Is providing 12+ volts (likely above 13v) going out
Trailer 12v Fuse Panel:
- Main fuse good
- Breaker between converter and batteries is not tripped
I would check and verify all of these voltages prior to spending any money on parts. My guess is that it's a problem with the shore power and not your trailer.
