Batteries and shore power

If the camper is plugged into shore power can the battery be removed

What's up with removing the battery when plugged in? But generally, yes, a converter will operate without the battery. There can be issues, however.

I have an inflatable Zodiac boat with an electric motor and thought I can use that battery and then plug it back in when I'm done to let it recharge rather than buy a new battery

Now that's innovative. What make/model camper we making reference to here where you can simply plug the battery back in?
