I need to put a new battery in my 2015 Crusader 5th wheel which I bought used. Anyone know the size of original battery. Battery in it is a DP27 which is an extremely heavy battery. I would like to go smaller and lighter if possible-we do not boon dock.
Thanks in advance.

It is probably a "Group 27" battery. You can replace it with a smaller Group 24 and save a bit of weight, but you will loose some battery capacity.

Make sure to buy a "Marine/RV" or "Deep Cycle" style battery, not the normal automotive "Starting" battery.

don't cheat yourself to save a little weight even tho you don't boon dock, when the campground goes down or the long trip between campgrounds you will like the bigger battery
