Looks like there is a reconditioned one available for half the price.
Does that run everything? Or no air con?

2000 watt is normally, no air. However with a 13.5K air conditioner and some start up mods to the air conditioner a good 2000 watt unit might work.

See air conditioner hard start mods (fan delay relay) for the right direction.

I bought a 5500 watt Generator so I could run everything if I wanted to.
Is a bit loud but I am not worried.

A single one will not run the air con. However, you can get two of them (for about the same price as a Honda) and hook them together with a parallel adapter. I can run my a/c that way.

BTW, they are very nice generators. Except after sitting unused for a for months, mine never fail to start on the 1st or 2nd pull.

A Honda 3000 will run everything and ac but will be running at pretty much full power. You can get 2 Honda 2000 and have extra $$$ and left over power. Or you can get 2 champions for half the price of two honda 2000.

to run everything, minimum would be the Yamaha 2400 or bigger. the 2400 is advertised to run MOST 13.5k a/c's. but most will get a 3000w just to be sure.
i'm sure your a/c is a 13.5k unless you upgraded it to a 15k one.

to run everything BUT the a/c, any 2000w inverter generator should be fine.
i got our Honda 2000 off of Craig's for $650 with only 25 hours on it and it's been one of the best purchases i've ever made.
the Champion 2000 is a great bargain but a little less powerful than the Honda or Yamaha 2000.

you can get a Honda 2000 delivered, for about $900, from a number of dealers.
Wise Sales is one of them.
