Battery Dead?

I think my battery is dead. I've only had my PUP a couple of months. Two weeks ago it was fine. This weekend I went camping but had no battery power. Thoughts? I camp at sites with shore power so its not like I drained it from over use.

Need more info....
if you were plugged into shore power you should have had 12v power even
without a battery.
Are you saying your lights and fridge and fan(s) all did not work??

Tell us exactly what worked and what didn't and we'll start guessing what you
should check.

Lots of discussion here about this very topic. Without removing the negative wire from your battery post or installing a battery cut out switch on your battery, there is no way to prevent your pup battery from going dead in several DAYS without power.

The battery is pretty small in capacity and there is draw that you can not control without completely removing the battery from the circuit. (Like the Fridge control panel (always has power even when off), the Propane leak detector (Always on and draws 0.1 amps). and the radio (clock and circuitry). Your battery will be completely dead in about 6 days from fully charged without a disconnect or battery minder installed.

Everything works on shore power. Radio and lights no longer work when only on battery power.

If you have full power when plugged in but no lights when not plugged in
your battery is not working for some reason.

This is OFTEN caused by blown battery inline fuse.
Some have circuit breaker inline but most are fuse.
You might find this fuse/circuit breaker under the front of the
trailer near the battery box.
It's time to put on your work clothes and crawl under there
and have a look.
Follow the red (positive) lead from the battery until you come
to the frame mounted fuse or circuit breaker.
(Wire might be any color..... just follow the one that's attached
to the plus side of the battery.)

It's common to blow the battery fuse when you first plug in especially if
the battery was pretty low at the time.
If it was me, I'd go up one size on the fuse or get an automatic resetting
circuit breaker for the battery lead.

Do you have a voltmeter you can put on the battery? Anything under 11 volts is deader than Bin Laden.

I was having same problem untill I installed a battery cut out switch on top of my battery box. Now it just takes a simple twist of the switch when i'm hooking or unhooking the hitch.

Update: after a more thorough search I found a blown fuse inside. It has been replaced and all is well again. She is back in the garage after a good cleaning. She'll be out again in 3 weeks for a 13 day camping adventure. Thanks to everyone for their help!
