The fuse burning was most likely as a result of low voltage and trying to run your motor on landing gear (current will increase when operating a motor with lower voltage than design). Your 2 amp draw on your battery is quite normal as there is some equipment in your trailer that would be on: TV antenna booster, radio, fridge, any 12 volt lights, furnace, water heater on propane, CO/LP detector, water pump, just to name a few.
