Battery discharge problem with Hemisphere 246 RLBS

We have a 2012 Salem Hemisphere 246 RLBS. Overnight, with no electrical items turned on, only the fridge to light when needed, the battery goes from fully charged to empty and we have to charge before we can take a shower etc. One night it didn't even have the power to light the fridge and we had to run the generator overnight to recharge the battery. With nothing turned on we have over 2 amp drain on the battery. Anyone else having these problems - how have you fixed them please?

Since in previous posts you had problem with 12 volts for front landing gear, I would get your battery checked at a retailer, most likely you need a new battery.

That was a fuse problem in the end but battery had discharged quite quickly. We are getting the battery checked and probably getting rebate on this one and buying a bigger one but its the discharge with nothing running that is the worrying thing.

The fuse burning was most likely as a result of low voltage and trying to run your motor on landing gear (current will increase when operating a motor with lower voltage than design). Your 2 amp draw on your battery is quite normal as there is some equipment in your trailer that would be on: TV antenna booster, radio, fridge, any 12 volt lights, furnace, water heater on propane, CO/LP detector, water pump, just to name a few.

12 Volt DC Amp Ratings
Appliance or Accessory Estimated Amps
Aisle Light 1 Amp
CO Detector 1 Amp
Fluorescent Light 1-2 Amps
Furnace 10-12 Amps
LP Gas Leak Detector 0.5 Amp
Overhead lights (Per Bulb) 1 Amp
Porch Light 1 Amp
Power Roof Vent 1.5 Amps
Radio/Stereo 4 Amps
Range Hood (Fan & Light) 2-3 Amps
Refrigerator (LP Gas Mode) 1.5- 2 Amps
Security System 1 Amp
Television (12 volt) 4-5 Amps
TV Antenna Booster <1 Amp
TV Antenna Booster 12 Volt outlet Up to 8 Amps
Variable Speed Ceiling / Vent Fan 4 Amps
VCR Recorder / Player 2 Amps
Water Pump 4 Amp
