Battery Disconnect

We have 2014 Flagstaff V Lite. I mistakenly hit my battery disconnect switch while cleaning under trailer. After spending lots of time trying to find the electrical problem, I discovered the switch(hidden very well around propane tanks). We keep our trailer sheltered and always on shore power when not camping. We never dry camp so I see no problem with by passing this switch if we don't use it, so this doesn't happen again. Any problem with doing this?

If I read this right you want to remove the batt disconnect switch and run the batt straight.

If so no problems, many rigs are set up without a disconnect. Never had a disconnect on any of my campers.

The battery disconnect allows you to still be hooked up to shore power (with everything working 12 & 110V) with the batteries out of the system like when replacing or doing maintenance. Myself I think the switch is a great feature and now that you know it there you should not have anymore problems.
