Battery Disconnect

Trying to get my head around the use of the switch and now I have to ask a somewhat simple question. When the trailer is plugged in is the battery switch supposed to be connected or not?

Thanks in advance

Tom

Yes, typically leave the 12v battery disconnect ON for shorter stays. This way you are assured of keeping your battery fully charged when sitting still. If you are staying in one local for an extended time, say 15+ days, it would be best to turn the disconnect switch OFF so the batteries don't lose a great deal of water due to the continuing "charging effect" of the inverter or converter.

It should be closed or "on" to connect your coverter to the battery to charge it.
