Same video as posted previously. I think the auto battery is the important point - for autos. Main safety issue seems to be concern with shorting the "increased" exposed area to ground if you put it on the positive lead. This implies you're fooling around near the battery.

BUT:
1. Most of us have our batteries in closed plastic battery boxes, i.e., we're not working around them 99.9% of the time.

2. Many of us have the factory installed switch, which isn't even IN the battery box, it's either inside the TT or under the propane tanks.

So I don't really think it matters for most of us in our application; although if I had a battery in one of those metal tool boxes that some folks put on their tongues (and use to store other stuff besides the battery), I might agree with negative.
