battery drain

I have a problem with my battery going down while hooked up to electrical. I have to put charger on battery

Sounds like your converter isn't working an inline fuse or the 110v breaker.

You need a volt ohm meter to diagnose.

Check the voltage at the battery while unplugged and then again when plugged in. Should see at least 13.5VDC when plugged in.

There are TWO resettable current limiters (fuses) between the converter and your battery. They are as pictured.

One should be very close to your battery (a few inches to a foot) and the second located at the junction box for your tow vehicle umbilical cord.

Look at the narrow side for a small button and make sure it is "IN"; if it is "OUT" and won't reset you have a short somewhere.

Look under the frame of travel trailers and under the pin box of 5th wheels.
They may (should) have a red plastic cover.
