Battery Help

I have 2 type 24 batteries, hooked together in parallel. I have a deltran minder junior hooked to each one. I haven't disconnected the batteries from my trailer. Is this ok? Is there something else I should do? The batteries seem to be charging, 13.3 this morning (12.4 yesterday). What should the battery voltage be at full charge? My trailer is in my shop for the winter. I am a newbee at this stuff. Any help would be appreciated.

When you connect two 12v batteries in parallel you make one larger battery capacity wise with the same output voltage. So you should always treat the paralleled batteries as one. So you should only be hooking up one battery minder or charger. Otherwise you are running the risk of the two chargers fighting each other and this may overcharge your batteries. At 100% full charge the battery should read 12.73 volts. But to take the reading you have to remove the surface charge remove the charger and let the battery sit for 24 hours then take the voltage reading.

It is OK if the batterys are disconnected, it may not be OK if they are not disconnected.
That battery minder puts out approx 18 amp hours in a 24 hour day. If the trailer has a parasitic draw higher than 18 amp hours in 24 hours then your batterys are in trouble.
Best to disconnect the batterys from the trailer.

I disconnected the batteries and hooked a tender to each. all is good!
