Battery Replacement on 5er

My battery is over 3 years old but still working fine. However, I want to plan to replace it when needed so what should I replace it with? I have seen some very nice batteries that last 8-15 years but overcharging will negate that. Does the Prime Time Crusader have a cutoff that prevents overcharging? Are sealed-no-maintenance batteries better than traditional? Is a LiIon better, does it matter how the plates are made/positioned? Just curious what others have done.

Answer these questions first:

Will you be doing any dry camping or boondocking?
Does your 5er have a residential fridge?

If the answer is no to both, you don't need any special battery.
A basic Group 24 marine battery will be sufficient.
