Battery type

Does anyone know if the deep cycle Rv/marine battery is a regular type? Or AGM?

You talking the OEM battery.? Probably normal type, but it should say it on the top. The OEM Lifeline 12v bats are normal flooded cell.

are you asking about deep cycle RV/marine batteries in general or the one the dealer installed on your trailer? dealers usually install the absolute cheapest deep cycle battery they can get, unless the buyer asks for something different. and it's usually not a true deep cycle battery.

Hello. I have been reading a little about the AMG batteries. I would research a little before the purchase of a new battery. I also found that Walmart had the best warranty on their best DC battery.

Ohh. Sorry, it's prolly written on the labels somewhere. I am sure they are proud of AMG if it is.

Just pulled my battery out when I put the TT in storage. I was surprised to see it is an INTERSTATE deep cycle battery. Definitely not a cheap one. Kudos to my dealer again. They keep showing me why they are so good.

AGM Absorbed Gas Mat. Nice if you can afford them. VERY nice if you don't have ready access to the batteries to check the electrolyte. They cost a bunch more tho.

Just switched------------

I just recently replaced my 28 series battery with a Duracell AGM series 31
RV/MARINE battery. It is almost 1/2 again the size of the 28 Series battery.
I had to replace the the battery box also for the original box was too small.
The battery came from Sam's and the large battery box came from PPL motorhome RV. I have also recently replaced the battery converter/charger with a four stage converter/charger.

In the replacement of the battery box, I had to relocate the large breather hole in the bottom of the battery box so I could place the box in a better position in the 8285 WS Rockwood fifth wheel. The large battery box now sits
fore and aft instead of cross-ways of the storage compartment. This allows for much more storage area.

My battery is an Interstate Deep Cycle also, I went to their website and it's a regular type premier flooded battery! I was just curious because I have a battery charger that also has a battery trickle charger on it but I have to select regular, AGM, or gel cell. Going to winterize my trailer today for the first time and going to pull the battery and keep it charged thru the winter.
