same here - hence my purchase of a powerstroke from costco for $449. A lot easier to swallow.

Just a FYI in case you don't know. If the Honda doesn't have an hour meter you can get a good idea of how many hours are on it by watching the output LED' on the front when it is started. For a lower hour unit, that seems like a good deal.

Just saw where Yamaha has a EF2000IS v2 which is an ungrade. They also have a camouflaged one but it's about $150 more. Also offering 4 year warranty if you buy it with a capital one yamaha credit card, whatever that is.

It is a dometic unit, not sure the model at the moment. Got the hard start capacitor off amazon.
