This could do it; or any other high draw item left on that was not fuse protected.
Normally, it is a "home rolled" inverter with no required inline fuse.

Water heater wasturned off before the trip home. We have a check list that we do before moving it. Have since had insurance adjustor look at it and said it was the amp breaker and insurance doesnt cover electrical. We have camper on auto insurance. Funny that the camper tech didnt find this issue but the adjustor did. Who do you all have camper insurance with? Should have had it thru good sam?? The camper tech had told our insurance co the only time he had seen this was when the battery was hooked up backwards which was not the case. The camper was plugged in since storing last october and we just used it 4 days when it happened. All was fine when we started home. Something happened on the way home. And we left our babies (dogs) in it while we went to eat before heading home. We now have it at reliable rv in springfield for an estimate. They are to look at it today. Have not contacted adjustor yet. She said to contact the manufacturer. Please help if have any advice.
