Brake lights/turn signals 2014 3010DS

So after several months for searching for the best RV, I so wanted to be very pleased....I have 2 issues within 1st 2 weeks of ownership.
1. The rear brake lights/signal lights randomly don't work, sometimes one side then the other, and as soon as I take it to get checked they are working. I have got to get this fixed so I'm more safe on the highway, as I never know when they are working or not!!! Please I'm open to all ideas.

This can be a difficult problem to troubleshoot. However, in most cases that I have seen, or heard about, the problem is a bad ground wire. Tracing your wiring to find where it is grounded is problematic. Most owners that have a grounding problem just run a new ground wire, tapping into one of the ground sides of a light and then securely fastening the other end to the frame.

Any suggestions on where I would start to look for the ground if I have to take it to the dealer I'd like to give them some direction and not just pay them for hours and hours and hours of troubleshooting

If the service dept needs advice from the owner on where to look for a light ground I think I would be taking it some place else. just my thoughts

I don't know anything about your rig, but on my 2012 Solera all the rear lights are routed through a circuit board that FR called a converter/combiner. Probably you have similar wiring. I had multiple and inconsistent rear light problems that were corrected by replacing this circuit board.

I have been to my local dealer now (not a Forest River dealer because there is not one) and several days and $100s later I still have the problem. They ran new grounds, that didn't work. They replaced the fuse panel under drivers dash...that didn't work in fact now my key fob for locks/alarms doesn't work. Of course since it fails at random # of miles and always works on startup they thought it was fixed. Over the weekend it failed at 10 miles, 30 miles and 60 miles. also aternated failing from passenger side to drivers. specifically one brake light and turn signal will fail at a time. If I shut engine off and restart it works again until it doesn't.
Going back today...I was wondering jamesarnold if you could tell me where this converter/combiner was located and it would be great if you had a picture of it.
